Pittsburgh will be the site of the National Veterans Wheelchair Games, 01-06 August 2011

Shelly Unser, Cody Unser, and Scott Taylor note the 20th anniversary of the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act before Cody is lowered into the Downtown Aquarium in Denver, Colorado during a scuba dive that was held during the 2010 National Veterans Wheelchair Games in July.

Athletes complete within three divisions–Masters (over age 40), Novice (first-time competitors in the Games), and Open (all others, or those who choose to compete in this category). They also compete within classes according to the level of their physical ability, with three quadriplegic-level classes and four paraplegic-level or amputee classes.
